Its rebellious spirit and unconventional approach needed a visual voice that was just as loud and non-conformist. The challenge: to develop a typeface that was not only modern and functional, but also embodied the club's unique identity and rebellious spirit.

FC Sans Pauli, a bespoke typeface family born from the collaboration between Karl Anders, Christoph Koeberlin and FC St. Pauli. Its special feature? It is backslanted font. A clear statement against the current, against conventions. It is more than just a typeface - it is an attitude, it is St. Pauli. From the clear and functional Regular to the expressive Bold, it offers a wide range of design options for every communication channel of the club.

FC Sans Pauli has revolutionized the visual communication of FC St. Pauli and strengthened its unique identity. 13 styles including a copy style from light to bold. Back numbers, tape style, opentype features and alternative glyphs to tinker with. A colorful type construction kit for a colorful club. The extensive Latin-S glyph set by type designer Christoph Koeberlin includes 100 additional languages in addition to the common European languages. FC Sans Pauli serves around 200,000,000 more speakers than the conventional glyph sets.
